This is a post-Thanksgiving post, but things have been slow in Big Rapids, K? This was from Thanksgiving at Nestle Inn, where the owners host a dinner for impoverished or simply solo people. The owners both lost their mothers around Thanksgiving and, since they’re from Alpena, it’s hard for them to get home for the holidays on both emotional and logistical levels. They decided to create their own family for Thanksgiving and hosted this dinner for the fifth time this year. So, so cool and such great food.
